Service Description

Having a fitness trainer who is pre and postnatally trained is vital. I like to get to know my clients, their likes, dislikes, strengths and weaknesses, any health impediments and really get to know what makes them tick in general. Building a relationship with my new mama's allows me to form a bond in meeting OUR postnatal fitness objectives. I say OUR, because when you win...I win. Our bodies change a lot from the moment we conceive, throughout pregnancy and beyond, so it is a good idea to have an assessment of your body, in particularly your abdominal region to assess the state of the tummy muscles, so that the required exercises can be done to improve or correct any postpartum misalignments of the abdominal wall and also begin to improve strength of the tummy muscles in general after its 9 months of expansion. As part of the service, a Postpartum MOT will be included, your abdominal wall muscles will be accessed for any separation, a number of exercises will be performed to assess how your core structure operates under each movement. We'll have a chat...I'll make some notes... We will do some training...I'll analyse the notes and assess your performance... I'll draw up a training plan...and then together we will smash our goals! Providing sessions that will fit around you making fitness not a 'may be' but a 'definitely'! Virtual training or 121 where possible, or even a combination of both, we will get you gradually and effectively improving your fitness and realistically fulfilling your body goals. Safely and appropriately, improve and regain your fitness, loose weight and build muscle. What ever your fitness goals during pregnancy, lets work together and start seeing results. Each session is for a duration of about 50 minutes, and this may be broken down into smaller chunks where necessary (to be explained in detail during our chat). *Appointments are virtual. If you live within 5 miles, no additional travel to you, £5 for every 5 miles beyond.
